How far in advance should I book a session?
A week should be enough time to get an idea of what you are looking for, research inspiration, prep for your type of shoot, and coordinate plans! If for some reason you need an immediate photoshoot - never hesitate to reach out! I try to accommodate you as best as possible.
How would you describe your style?
Pacific Northwest meets Photojournalism! Nature heavily inspires my photos, whether it's the tones, vibes, or composition of the photo. You will get a mix of candid and posed photos!
What's the Process like? How will I receive my photos?
A few days after your photoshoot, you will receive an email with a link to an online album where you select the photos you want edited (not included with the mini-sessions). After you make your selections, it will take approximately a week for you to receive your edited photos in the same album (you will receive emails every step of the way!) Once you've received your photos you have a month to download and save them before the album is no longer active. Don't forget to tag me in your social media posts! I always welcome feedback and reviews, they are much appreciated!
What kinds of photoshoots do you do?
Humans (Individuals, families, and couples) looking to document their lives! I also enjoy working with other artists and content creators - sign me up for creative projects! If you are inquiring about an intimate elopement session feel free to reach out for rates. I don't shoot weddings at this time.
I'm not comfortable in front of the camera, what do I do?
You've come to the right person! I want to be able to capture you and your relationship with your loved ones as authentically as possible while enhancing the parts of yourself you love! I try to take time getting to know you, your personality, and your lifestyle - it helps me figure out how to break you out of that shell! I will get you moving and laughing to let loose and get used to being in front of the camera. Please communicate any concerns or fears you may have, this is a safe space!
Are you available for travel?
Yes! I'm comfortable traveling nationally. Travel expenses will vary.
What happens if the weather doesn't permit a shoot?
I'm always open to re-booking a session if the weather isn't ideal for a shoot! I do believe we can make magic in any weather from rain to snow, but we must all be comfortable to make magic together.
